What to Expect

The classes are taught in a friendly, non competitive, meditative atmosphere.

Each class begins with a gentle warm up to prepare the body for movement and to allow the Chi to circulate. Breathing techniques and correct posture and physical alignment are included in every class. The class format includes both active and static Qi Gong as well as learning and perfecting the Tai Chi form.

Martial art application and meditation are also included.

Instruction  is relaxed and participants are encouraged to develop and progress at their own pace.

What to Wear

Students are encouraged to practice barefoot or wear canvas shoes, loose comfortable clothing that allow for a range of movement is suitable for practising Tai Chi.

Each class is supplemented with hand outs to support learning and development of each student.
